Hip Hop and R&B Bingo with Tom Swoope is returning to DFW for a Sunday evening takeover at Sasha's Kitchen & Cocktails in Addison. Last time we came through Dallas, the room was packed and people were still talking about it weeks later. Early Bird tickets are on sale right now at the lowest price they will ever be.

What Is Hip Hop and R&B Bingo with Tom Swoope?
Forget everything you think you know about bingo. Nobody's calling out numbers. This is a full live production — a DJ, a live drummer, and a host who runs the room like a concert.
Here's how it works: the DJ drops a song. You know it in three notes. You find that song title on your bingo board, mark it, and then you sing it. Loud. With a room full of people who grew up on the exact same music you did. Somebody hits BINGO, the place erupts, and real cash money goes straight into their hand right there on the spot.
Between rounds, Tom takes the mic for the storytime segments that made him famous — the takes, the debates, the "first off, in my opinion" moments that have people arguing in the comments for a week straight.

Who Is Tom Swoope?
Tom Swoope is the creator, host, and producer of Hip Hop and R&B Bingo with Tom Swoope, and the voice behind First Off In My Opinion — the lifestyle and storytime brand that earned him the name "Mr. Story Time" across every platform.
He's taken this show to City Winery stages nationwide, into Canada, and into every major market in the country. Over 300 sold-out rooms and counting. He is not a background host reading names off a card — he's the reason the room stays on its feet all night.

The Venue: Sasha's Kitchen & Cocktails

Sasha's is one of DFW's standout Black-owned upscale spots — elevated Southern cuisine, a serious craft cocktail program, and a lounge built for exactly this kind of night. It sits on Inwood Rd in Addison, right in the middle of North Dallas, easy to reach from Plano, Frisco, Richardson, Carrollton, Irving, and downtown alike.
The food. This is real Southern cooking done at a high level — the kind of menu people drive across the metroplex for. Sasha's has built its whole reputation on it. Come hungry, get there early, eat before the show starts.
The bar. Full craft cocktail program, premium spirits, and a bar staff that knows what they're doing. Available all night.
The room. Sasha's already runs R&B nights, live music, and live DJ programming every week — which means the space is built for sound and the vibe is already in the walls. Comfortable seating, warm lighting, lounge energy. This isn't a converted banquet hall. It's a room that was made for a night like this.

Do I need to know how to play bingo? No. If you know Hip Hop and R&B, you already know how to play. We explain everything from the stage before round one.
Is this fun if I'm not a "bingo person"? Nobody here is a bingo person. That's the point. This is a concert with a game attached.
Are the prizes real? Yes. Real cash prizes, handed out live, multiple times throughout the night.
Is there food and drinks? Yes — Sasha's runs a full Southern kitchen and a craft cocktail bar, both available for purchase all night. Get there early if you want to eat a full meal before the show starts.
Where exactly is this? 14865 Inwood Rd, Addison, TX 75001. Addison, in North Dallas — not downtown. Check your maps before you leave.
What's the age restriction? 21+. Valid government-issued ID required for entry.
What should I wear? No strict dress code, but Sasha's is upscale and this crowd shows up dressed. Come looking good — you'll be in a lot of pictures.
Can I come alone? People do it every show and leave with new friends. But it's better with your people.
Do I need to arrive early? Yes. Doors open at 5:00 PM and the show starts at 6:30 PM. That hour and a half is your window to eat, drink, and settle in. General Admission seating is first come, first served — early arrival gets you the better seat. Reserved Tables must be claimed before showtime.
Can I buy at the door? Only if we don't sell out. We usually sell out. Buy in advance.
Can I bring my own food or drinks? No outside food or drinks permitted.
